Satin Ice Buttercream Icing Mix is a soft dough-like base that mixes to a light, fluffy buttercream. Add real butter, a touch of water and mix for that authentic taste of homemade buttercream… all in a fraction of the time. Forming a light delicate crust while remaining soft on the inside, our buttercream can be used for covering & decorating, piping flowers & borders, string work, filling, crumb coat, and dessert base. Simply adjust the amount of water to suit your needs – firm, medium or soft. Add color & flavor to customize and express your creativity!

INGREDIENTS:
Sugar, soybean oil, hydrogenated vegetable oil (soybean, cottonseed), water, corn syrup, natural and artificial flavors, citric acid, mono- and diglycerides, TBHQ, polysorbate 60.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:
Buttercream Icing Mix - Product should be stored/warehoused below 80°F. The temperature of the product is important mostly to the end user and should be between 68°F and 80°F (20°C and 27°C) before handling.
Buttercream Covered Cake - If the mixed buttercream was stored prior to being used on the cake, take that into consideration in calculating how much time the cake can be stored.
ROOM TEMPERATURE: If you’re serving your cake within 3 days, it can remain at room temperature and remain safe to eat.
REFRIGERATE: A buttercream cake can be refrigerated for up to 1 week. It is best to store the cake covered, and away from fragrant foods.
Finished Buttercream - While buttercream can be stored and used later, it’s important to note that the fresher the buttercream, the better it will work especially for detailed piping and decorative work. For stored Buttercream, we recommend mixing it with an electric mixer with the paddle attachments to achieve desired consistency.
AIRTIGHT CONTAINER: Place the buttercream frosting in an airtight container in a temperature between 60°F-80°F for 3 days.
REFRIGERATE: Buttercream frosting can be refrigerated for up to one week without losing freshness. When ready to use, let it sit until it gets to room temperature, then stir to regain original consistency.
FREEZE: Buttercream frosting can remain in the freezer for up to one month without losing freshness. Take it out of the freezer a day before use and let it thaw overnight.

I started my catering business 29 years ago, and enjoyed every minute of it. But my biggest passion was the pastry side of the business. Back then, I saw how many of my friends and people that I knew struggled in being able to purchase many of the professional products and bakeware that I was privileged to use. I wanted to find a way to not only sell professional products, but also teach the customers on how to use them and show them new trends within the sugar art world.
in 1995, my family and I relocated to Cleveland Ohio. We spent several years there while my frustration on finding good products and ingredients continued until my husband was relocated again. This time, we moved to central Florida in 2000. It was here where I learned that there was such a thing as the "Cottage Law", which gave me an opportunity to jump start a pastry business from home while taking care of my kids.
Inspired by the new trends in this industry, the need to share my latin flavors and my passion to teach people on how to do their own masterpieces, The Sweet Chalet was established and opened it's doors in the spring of 2016.
Since then, we have been blessed to have had such a wonderful acceptance within our community. We have made a huge splashin the local market and the cake decorating industry. Now, we're making global waves with our online distribution.
