Create a beautiful metallic shimmer finish with this range of gorgeous iridescent airbrush colours.
The Spectrum Flow iridescent metallic paints add a shimmer to your cakes so that when your cake catches the light, it will give off a reflective shine in your chosen colour.
The iridescent paint doesn’t provide an opaque colour like the matt or the pearl range so are great for adding a final layer on top of other colours to give your chocolate a gorgeous shimmering finish.
The Spectrum Flow ethanol airbrush paints differ from many other paints available on the market as they can be used on chocolate as well as sugarpaste. This is great as you don’t have to colour your chocolate in advance and it means you can get your shading just right. You don’t just have to make do with block colours if you don’t want to.
Whereas other airbrush paints are often water based, the ethanol in these paints make them suitable for a huge range of different decorating mediums.
The Spectrum Flow paints can be used to spray onto sugarpaste/fondant, marzipan, chocolate, modelling paste, modelling chocolate, flower paste, buttercream, biscuits, icing sheets, jelly, jam, icre-cream, wafer paper and much more!
Spectrum Flow paints are made with an ethanol and powder mixture. Ethanol, which is a food safe, factory produced ingredient (which has the same properties as alcohol) is used as the propellant for the colour and when it leaved the airbrush in a fine mist of spray it starts to evaporate in the air, even before hitting the cake. This leaves the powder particles of colour behind, giving a powder coat finish to the cake, which is almost dry to the touch immediately after spraying.
Unlike water based airbrush paints, the ethanol based Spectrum Flow colours can be layered on top of one another, allowing you more freedom when colouring and shading.

The Sweet Chalet isn't simply a store, we're you best friend in the pastry and sugar art world.
I started my catering business 29 years ago, and enjoyed every minute of it. But my biggest passion was the pastry side of the business. Back then, I saw how many of my friends and people that I knew struggled in being able to purchase many of the professional products and bakeware that I was privileged to use. I wanted to find a way to not only sell professional products, but also teach the customers on how to use them and show them new trends within the sugar art world.
in 1995, my family and I relocated to Cleveland Ohio. We spent several years there while my frustration on finding good products and ingredients continued until my husband was relocated again. This time, we moved to central Florida in 2000. It was here where I learned that there was such a thing as the "Cottage Law", which gave me an opportunity to jump start a pastry business from home while taking care of my kids.
Inspired by the new trends in this industry, the need to share my latin flavors and my passion to teach people on how to do their own masterpieces, The Sweet Chalet was established and opened it's doors in the spring of 2016.
Since then, we have been blessed to have had such a wonderful acceptance within our community. We have made a huge splashin the local market and the cake decorating industry. Now, we're making global waves with our online distribution.
Welcome to The Sweet Chalet, we're glad you're here.
